What is it: Roll the dice and place your bets at this year’s
Main Street Vermilion fundraiser, “Bet on Us!” The Casino Night-themed evening will be held Nov. 16 at
German’s Villa, 3330 Liberty Ave., Vermilion.
Since 2001, Main Street Vermilion's has "worked to maintain our downtown's character and vitality," according to the Main Street Vermilion website. "We do this through mission focused work over many projects and initiatives including community collaboration, design and preservation, small town promotions and economic development."
Along with casino games, guests will enjoy heavy appetizers and desserts, a cash bar, free photo booth, and entertainment from
Rock & Roll Express. Attendees have chances to win a television, poker set, wine package, smart home system, and more.
Why is it important: The fundraiser is necessary so Main Street Vermilion can continue to promote, preserve, and beautify historic Vermilion downtown.
“For over 20 years Main Street Vermilion has added the extras to our community,” says Main Street Vermilion Executive Director Kate Repola. “Our work includes flowers, art, historic preservation, community collaboration, small business promotion, tourism and much much more.”
