What is it: Strawberry Cow is a new, local food truck with a mobile ice cream parlor twist. Featuring ice cream, specialty milkshakes, and out-of-this-world
burgers,
Strawberry Cow is here to serve Sandusky and all of Erie County affordable yet delectable lunch and dinner options.
The vibrant, pink food truck is owned and operated by Javon Williams and his fiancee and Strawberry Cow “backbone” Summer Bays. As a Detroit native, Williams moved to Sandusky about six years ago to pursue his passions in a peaceful, supportive community. After working at Cedar Point and Routh Packing, Williams began flipping campers, which is when Strawberry Cow was born.

“I didn’t want to just do ice cream,” Williams says. “I wanted to make it special, bring something different to the community.”
Strawberry Cow has already begun to leave its mark as an affordable, yet delicious food truck. When envisioning Strawberry Cow, Williams knew he wanted to offer mouthwatering menu items with “financial fairness” in mind for all members of the community.
“We don’t want to break the bank,” he says.”It’s not prices you see at the fairs.”
The Menu: While Strawberry Cow began with ice cream and specialty milkshakes, they are ever expanding their offerings with options such as onion rings, mac and cheese bites, and burgers. In the future, they hope to continue expanding on more food items and become a bolstering lunch and dinner spot.
Javon Williams and Summer Bays run Strawberry Cow.“We’ve been told our burgers are the best in town,” Williams says. “They are leaving their mark on people.”
How to get involved: The best way to find out Strawberry Cow’s next event and location is to like and follow their
Facebook for updates, schedules, and online ordering. If you’re driving down Perkins Avenue in Sandusky during the week, check the O’Reilly Auto Parts parking lot at 229 W Perkins Ave. You may be just in time to grab a tasty burger or specialty milkshake.
Strawberry Cow also is always looking to attend local and private events.
“We are providing something different with everything we do,” Williams says, “provide something special for the community.”
